New Paint and Sushi Classes

Well, I may have been wrong about February being messed up because March already has it beat.

Joe and I very mutually and calmly decided to end things last month; we've been inseparable ever since. It's like when we first met, butterflies, smiles, and all.

I can't explain it, I guess we're just meant to be.

He is still living at his mom's house, but he's here every other day. We are taking our time apart, we need to; growing as individuals is just as important as growing together.

That being said, we are going to take a sushi class.

I am so excited.

One, it's at Shinto. Yum. Two, super cute date idea, for the win.

Who knows, we may (will) have a How To Roll Sushi post for you all :)

I'm still moving forward with my house renovations and this weekend will be the easiest of them all. I'm going to paint my bedroom and hang up new curtains and replace all of the window blinds in the kitchen. Once again, I am excited.

I'm looking forward to showing you all my ugly house, hopefully the before and after pictures will blow you away.

February has come to an end..

I started February as a (kind of fun-ish) mother living with my (can't find himself) boyfriend of almost 4 years, whom I did not consider my boyfriend. Not because I hated him, I love him very much, but, because he's not my JoeJoe, my rock that I thought would never disintegrate; my everything had become lost. I lost myself, too. So, I decided to get my happy back, our (coupled) relationship ended well, surprisingly. We are in a fairly good place, with each other, at the moment. Isn't March the one that comes in like a lion and out like a lamb? Well, if that's right, it's fitting. I'm a Leo and I look like a lion (thanks to my insane lion mane hair), so it works right? I think it's a good sign. I think this is my month to gain myself back.

I'm finding myself actually thinking of interesting things to write about again and I've gained a ridiculous amount of new followers, lots of thanks goes to Angie for that, so I will not let anyone down, in this arena. I just need to get that last little bit of motivation thrown at me, which I'm sure will come once my blog is completely revamped (again, thanks to Angie!)..

An Extra Personal Wednesday Obsession

Before my obsession I'd like to post something personal.

This has been a rough week.

Joe and I have decided to take a break. I'm not sure if it's going to be permanent, at first I wanted it to be and I was okay with it, but after he finally opened up and really talked to me.. well, I just don't know. I was thrown for a loop once he opened his mouth.

However, we are on a break at the moment and I'm taking it positively well. We are in a really great place, no animosity or ill will from either side; we just need to find ourselves again.

On another positive note, I've redone my closet and I love it. The kitchen will be completely different by mid-spring and my bedroom will be painted. I'm excited. This house is definitely not a Beth house; I don't know what it is, it's just bad, plain(not in a good way), and sad.
I have a feeling that I'll be posting a lot of home improvement posts in the upcoming months..
